Hi, Maria! I'm a bit late getting to this - the communications from Spark were somewhat messed up for a while, but I think I have it sorted now. I hope, lol.

What is the OurPath system you posted about? I've been thinking about trying a 5:2 plan, but haven't (quite!) committed to it yet... :-)

Hi there

I have just rejoined SparkPeople. I have completed something called OurPath which has put me back on track eating wise and so far I have lost a stone. This is the only SparkPeople forum where I can post that and people will know what I mean!

I'm doing low carb (but not ketogenic), moderate protein and relatively high fat. This works for my insulin resistant body so I'm going to stick to it.

I am walking quite a bit - I averaged about 12,000 steps last week. Some days the total is very low and some days very high (today's is ridiculously low!).

I live in London and I'm planning to do some of the London based walking routes over the summer (once it comes back). I'm starting with the Capital Ring. I'm also going to have to get my Pilates & Yoga head back on - can't beat them.

I'm glad to find a UK based group. All that American positivity might be a bit much for me. What do I find when I sign up to the UK group: a Spit or Swallow thread. You guys!!
