This site is a great resource! Using the food tracker has been very critical for me losing weight.
Consistency is the key!!

Welcome to the team, Daisy : )

I know it's a bit of a faff but I SERIOUSLY recommend using the food tracker every day. When i first started I hardly exercised at all but still managed to lose weight just by realising that my portions had been way too big, and getting my calories in range.

Welcome to SP, and to the team.
There's so much to SP, that I'd advise you to give yourself some time to look around before deciding on stuff.
Good luck with this adventure!

Hi everyone :) I'm Daisy, 22 from Devon. I really need a big kick up the bum - I need to lose some weight as I have gradually put on over the years, being comfortable and happy in a long term relationship, with a boyfriend who likes to cook [he was a chef]. He can eat and stay trim, but I cannot, and I've always loved my food! I also have an office job of just sitting all day.
I'm 5'10 and always been a bit bigger, which I'm fine with - but I've put on about 2 stone / 28 pounds and I need to get this off!
I tried low carb for a while, and ended up feeling ill, so stopped. Tried myfitnesspal, just didn't stick to tracking. Recently tried WeightWatchers online, and I enjoyed it - lost 4lbs in my first week, then didn't lose in my second, lost all hope and then gained every week as I wasn't following it properly!
I need a lot of motivation and guidance, I'm allergic to exercise and I'm very unfit, but I really want to get my stomach less flabby and I want to be stronger.
I really hope this site helps me and look forward to my journey :) It looks a bit confusing to get around, but cool there's a UK team!
