Hello Uk SP,
I am a 24hr residential carer for a lovely old gentleman, I work 3 weeks on and 3 weeks off. During my "off time " I go home to Spain to see my husband of 42 years (I'm 61yrs old) - we have lived over in Spain nearly 13 years and love it. We have 2 sheep, 3 cats and 2 dogs all are rescue pets and 2 sons back in Yorkshire.
I have high blood pressure and cholesterol and I'm on medication for it, since joining SP I have lost 5kg ( +2kg previous) . I have received support from reading the inspirational stories and they make me more determined to carry on. I have now started to enjoy walking and miss it if I don't do it every day.
I go home on Wednesday and my goal is to maintain my weight, last time I dropped 1kg which was great (lets face it anything is welcome).
Well got to dash, need to clear the table PS Love the new Special K porridge.


a health heart, a health mind. I am being selfish = = I am doing this for ME ! (ok and my husband who wants me around for along time yet )
