Hi Bronwen, welcome! emoticon
I add most things that I cook to the tracker myself ingredient by ingredient and am entering most of the things I buy at the supermarket myself as well, just to make sure that I'm tracking everything as accurately as I can. If you make sure to check the box to save the food to your favoriates when you are adding it to the tracker then it will be there in your favoriates the next time you need to track it. emoticon

Hi there,

I'm slowly, but surely, adding homemade stuff to the nutrition tracker.
Even just cheese sauce - takes me a while as I work my way through the nutrition for each ingredient. But then I can enter a food value for a cup, or a tablespoon, or whatever - and then use that as an average whenever I have homemade cheese sauce

Welcome to the team : )
When adding home made things I tend to enter them ingredient by ingredient. It can take a bit of time but at least you know it's as accurate as possible,
As for UK bought food, there's a surprisingly large amount of it already on the database, but if it's not and I can't find anything similar enough then I just enter it myself. That's especially worth it if it's something you eat regularly.

Hello, I have just joined SP and I think it's fab, just by logging in my daily food intake I can see where I've been going wrong. I just find it difficult to find the UK foods listed, and not many are homemade dishes, any tips?
many thanks
Bronwen
