40 years old...ready to have a baby. Told I am fine after a fertility test, but still having a hard time. I am now trying to lose about 20 lbs so when I do carry, I can try to be a healthy weight during pregnancy. I was told no bread, rice or pasta to stay thin while pregnant. I pray it happens soon. I only wish I didn't wait so long. I will be 41 when giving birth if it happens soon for me.

Hi Stacy! I'm in the exact same boat! My name is also Stacy, I'm 35 and TTC for the first time! LOL! I have the same weight goals as you before I get pregnant, but it's hard in the summer with traveling, cookouts, etc. Good luck to you and hope your appt. went well!

Hi there~

My name is Stacy, I'm 35 and trying to conceive for the first time (well, getting ready to start!). I've ditched the pills and have been getting into shape, slowly but surely. I want to get down below 150 before I get pregnant, though this is kind of an arbitrary number. I go to meet for a pre-prenatal checkup tomorrow to get more details about how I'm doing. I'd love to hear from others in the same boat!
