Hi & welcome, Jen & Zelda! My dogs are definitely my inspiration. My little Spaniels can't take the heat & need to go when it's cooler too. My Basset seems to be part lizard & doesn't mind. I don't LET him stay out when it's too hot, but then, too hot is not a concept he understands!

We had a fawn female Dane when I was in college. (Longer ago than I care to admit!) Looking forward to hearing more about you & Zelda!

Hi Jen, welcome to the team.
Dora dog is my best work out buddy! She is always ready to go for a walk, regardless of how hot or cold it is. In this heat, most of our long walks are morning and/or evening, but it is surprising how much you can add to total distance by putting in a few shorter walks in between.

Hi! Just wanted to introduce myself real quick. My name is Jen and my biggest motivator to get moving and out of the house is my baby girl Zelda. She is a three year old great dane. We live in Texas where right now we are plagued with triple degree weather, so we tend to do our walks very late at night. Zelda is spoiled rotten, and when she wants to go for a walk we do! I am new to spark and am loving all the excitement and encouragement! emoticon
