I so agree about the bonding, and it's so rewarding to see how much fun he has!

Hi, welcome to the team.

My Dora dog is my best motivator to get out and walk, even when I don't really feel like it. The excitement she shows when I pick up her lead gets me outside in all kinds of weather. It is also a great way of bonding with your dog. Enjoy it, he will.

Thanks for the warm welcomes! Loki and I went for a walk/run on the beach today, only about 20 minutes (so damned hot!) but we both felt great! emoticon

Welcome and grats on the new family member! If you don't feel motivated to walk for yourself, walk for him! You'll both feel better! emoticon emoticon

Welcome to the team and to having a puppy again.

I walk my girls and use the mileage tracker on Spark to keep track of the walks. See link

After 6 years of being doggie-free (our family pooch passed away), I've recently adopted a Rescue dog. Loki is a "husky mix" wolfdog, about 9 months old now. We've had him for 3 months now and he's quickly become the center of my universe, lol! I'd love to start seriously walking with him because we both need the exercise, am looking for motivation and inspiration to do so!
