Hi and emoticon to the Spark site and the Fibro team. You are doing right by getting started slowly, gradually adding more time onto your workouts,. It is always best for everyone to ease into exercise than to overdo. Wishing you a great spark journey.

Reply has some DVD series that help the fascia to untangle so you don't hurt as much. It's very gentle workouts. I love them.

If it is going to be it is up to me !!!

emoticon My name is BertaLynn or just Berta. I have fibromyalgia and I'm finding as I get older I have more symptoms and it seems more chronic. A friend recommended spark to me. Since July 2009 I've lost 201 pounds in a 12 step program for compulsive overeaters. I realized that I was eating in the same was alcoholics drink. So, even though I'm not longer in a wheelchair and the transformations in my life are amazing - I still struggle with this fibro challenge. I've started tracking my fitness here. I'm beginning with chair exercises and stretching because I want to work into it slowly and carefully. In the past I've flown off into an exercise frenzy and ended up in bed for days, feverish and miserable. Hoping for better wisdom this time and a better committment. Hoping to meet new people and just be among people who "get it".

Smiling through the pain,
