We try to keep things going here and there is another Fibromyalgia support and hope. I belong to both and enjoy them immensely. Welcome to the group

Hello, Fibro-Friends!

First let me say that I am sad to hear that you have Fibro, but I am glad to have this opportunity to know you and to walk together to be the best we can be despite this horrid health issue.

I am looking for a fibro group where there is good participation and where I fit in. I not only need help in learning to live life to the full despite fibro, but I want a place where I can be a help to others.

My diagnoses was not quite a year ago. It took months for me to accept the diagnosis as true. This past winter was very rough, the worst pain I have ever experienced, not necessarily in intensity so much as longevity. Oh, my. I look forward to getting into the threads here, getting to know you all, and to growing in my understanding of and ability to cope with and overcome this diagnosis.

On a personal note, my name is Darlene. I am very happily married--nearing 37 years now. We have 3 beloved children and 11 grandchildren, ages 5 to 18. I have been a member of Spark nearly one year as AbigailSing, and not back and coming up on one year as Abby-Joy. I love studying God's word (The Holy Bible) and writing devotions and articles over what I discover there. My hobbies are crocheting, a growing joy of scrapbooking, walking with Dawg-Buddy Jasper and Missy-Roo Popcorn. I also love swimming, but we do not have a pool in our area with enough privacy to enjoy it. I enjoy reading Christian character growth books and mysteries, and watching mysteries and Sci-fy on TV.

Looking forward to journeying with you,
Darlene

May we run in such a way that we may win. Think strong. Be strong. Finish strong. (1 Cor. 9:24).
