Hi, my name is Jeanne. I am a Special ed teacher (almost 32 years) and mother of 4 (3 girls ages 30, 24, and 22 and a 17-yr old son). My husband works 3 1/2 hrs from home and works an erratic schedule (he's an ER doc), so I am the go-to parent in our family. I tend to put others first and think of myself later (if at all) so I have not developed good routines for exercise. I've had several knee and should injuries and developing arthritis, and I am great at making excuses NOT to exercise. I know the health benefits and reasons why I should, but I am a great procrastinator and excuse-maker! I need help on this journey to get in better shape and be healthier!! HELP!

You've got the right idea. Set small goals at first and as long as you are consistent and keep pushing yourself, you will watch the goals become bigger and better. I haven't been sparking very long but so far, it's a great resource.

Joined today. setting small goals of weight loss, hopefully to lose 80 lbs when I am done
