You both bring up good points - real issues and advice we can all relate to. Make small changes at first and add on when you're able to. Even if the progress and results are happening at a slower pace, you'll be able to stick with it longer and can eventually reach your goals. The same with SP, try some of the online tools and app features and only use the ones that you like and work for you. Good luck!

Welcome! My 2 cents: do NOT compare your husband's weight loss to your own. Men's bodies are totally different & they just lose weight faster. It sucks (ok, it's bull $hit!) but it's true.

I use the Spark People app to track my food & fitness everyday. They've made some changes recently & it's really good.

Also, try to fit fitness into your busy day whenever you can. Instead if a 10-15 min coffe break, take a walk. About every 2 hours during my work day I try to fit in a few moves in my office or even in the restroom (lunges, squats, wall push-ups, etc.) the little changes add up. And it doesn't have to be all or nothing with fitness. If you don't have an hour to give, only give 10 minutes.

I hope you find this helpful. Good luck & don't be so hard on yourself!

Hello, I've tried Spark before, but had a hard time keeping up with calorie counting. I lost 40 lbs doing South Beach, then about a year later we moved and I got out of my exercise routine, gained it all back, so been pretty hard on myself. This time has been harder than last. I'm trying to find something that works for me - tweaks in my lifestyle, without anything dramatic. I don't eat a ton, but I absolutely love food and often make bad food choices. I do light exercise, but am often exhausted from my day of work, having 2 young kids, and being a Girl Scout troop leader. My hubs does weight loss with me - and of course is very successful, which is awesome for him, but again, makes me beat myself up even more. I could use some help. Other mom's out there in the same boat that have had success, please send your tips on how to use this program more effectively, or what's worked for you. Thank you :)
