Welcome!! There are alot of great people on this site and in the group...don't hesitate to ask questions, or share your successes and obstacles. Look around and get comfortable with the site. I just started blogging and journaling and found out that it really helps me, but the most important thing is tracking your food and exercise. emoticon

I am a 28 year old wife and a mother of a 2 year old daughter. I am here to become more motivated to lose weight, exercise and just be healthy. Although we keep our little girl pretty healthy; trying to make sure she has a healthy balanced diet (a little bit of a struggle with a toddler) and some daily outdoor time, my husband and I are both considerably overweight. We do over indulge in fast food and junk food, over eating is a problem as well. We also do not do many outdoor activities (other than playing at the park/outside with our daughter).
We plan on me getting pregnant early next year. Right now I weigh 210 lbs. and I would like to lose about 50 lbs. by the end of February. I really do not want to be unhealthy and carrying around so much extra weight while I am pregnant.
I enjoy cooking and we like fresh foods, we also enjoy outdoor activities. However, our problems are lack of motivation and laziness. As parents we realize our children's habits will start with us and we want them to have the best chance at being healthy and fit.
I look forward to reaching my goals and using this site to track my progress and get any support I may need. I would like to become a stronger individual to be able to help others and be a motivator for my friends and family.
