My name is Kaylee and I recently turned 24. I have one daughter Elise, who was born 9/9/2009, so she's almost 11 months. Weight is something I've struggled with most of my life (since puberty) and I'm really looking forward to finally taking charge and achieving my weight loss and fitness goals.

I'm currently at just over 180lbs and would like to eventually (by my birthday next year - May 22nd) get down to 130.

Looking forward to interacting with some other mamas on here! :)

Hi I'm Nikki. I'm 29 and I am a working mom with a ten year old son and 11 month old boy/girl twins. My doctor put me on a three thousand calorie a day diet when I was pregnant with the twins and although I had a great pregnancy and the babies made it full term I have had a hard time getting back to a normal calorie amount per day and have gained close to 100lbs. I have no idea how other working moms find time to work out so I'd love suggestions!

My name is Samantha. I'm 23 and I'm a stay at home mom with 3 kids, Lidiya 6, Zane 2 1/2, and Eli 9 months. I started SP (again) yesterday. I'm VERY motivated right now. Feel like I can do anything. Hi everyone. I'm Michelle! I have three wonderful children Sam 8, Abby 6, and Sophie 7months. I have struggled with my weight for the past six years. About four years ago I joined weight watchers to loose the baby weight I had gained with Abby. I had been planning to join again to loose the weight I gained from Sophie but my mom turned me onto SP. I am so excited about it! I am getting a promotion at work next month and need to look the part... or at least need to get into my suits again. I am motivated but still working out the dedication part. I started on Monday and have been pretty good about exercising but my diet is all over the place. It will all come together soon.

I look forward to getting to know everyone.

Hello Sparkers! My name is Kimberly and I just had my first child, Lincoln, in June. I joined sparkpeople in 2006 and lost 30 pounds for my wedding in 2007. I had gained back some of that weight in 2009 and then got pregnant and gained 40 lbs. I am looking to lose the baby weight and the weight I had gained before pregnancy. Hi, My name is Nicole and I am brand new to SparkPeople. I have been on WeightWatchers and been successful but when I got pregnant with my daughter in the summer of 08 I ballooned. She was born in March of 09 and by her 1st birthday I was back to my pre-pregnancy weight but have hit a plateau and can't get the last 25 pounds off (I call them Nicky pounds since I can't blame them on my daughter) I have tried and failed so many times, but I want to be proud of myself for once and it doesn't hurt that I have a super swanky wedding to attend in December and I want to look as amazing as possible. My long term goal is between 130 and 135 and I am hoping my renewed spirit and SparkPeople can get me there.

Hi, I'm Chris. I'm re-new to SparkPeople. I found this site in 2006 but fell off the wagon. So now I'm back. I'm married and have a 1 1/2 yr old son. I'm hoping to lose some weight so I can be healthy for me and my family and to hopefully have another baby. Before my son my highest weight was 260. Now my weight is even higher at 275. My name is Coreen, and I have a 4 month old baby boy Quinntyn. I always ate well and exercised until I got pregnant. Then I was sick for 5 months and the last four I ate McDonalds Breakfast sandwiches and Dairy Queen Blizzards every day. At the top I was 175 lbs after I gave birth 165. Hi, I am a new mommy as of 2 weeks ago. I am tracking my calories but I can't exercise yet except for light walking due to having a c/s. Hopefully my 6 week apt will go well and I can start doing something soon. I have lost 6lbs so far and my goal is 13 more lbs, but I would love to lose 5 more after that. I am not exactly dieting, just nursing and eating healthy.

Hello! I've been a Spark Person for about 3 years now, but I'm a new mommy for just over a month. I've spent a lot more time in the past 9 months on BabyFit rather than SparkPeople, but now I'm coming back to try to lose the weight I've gained. I didn't have my 6-week dr. appt. yet, but I'm starting the Fast Break now to get back in the swing of tracking things, etc. Once I see the dr. next week, I'll start to look at diet and exercise again. Since I'm a new mom, I look forward to learning from those of you who have a lot more experience than I do!

Today doesn't last forever, but tomorrow never comes.

I am finding out that it is very different to try and lose gained baby fat in your 30s compared to when i was in my 20s-Damn metabolism!!! Just joined SP and can't keep up with where I've introduced myself haha. I'm Danielle. I'm 22 and a first time mom to my 7 month old baby girl :) I've struggled with eating disorders in the past and when I became pregnant I totally used it as my excuse to eat whatever I wanted. As a result I gained 70 lbs (yikes!!) and only lost half of it. However, I was already 20 lbs overweight, so now I have about 50 lbs to lose. I'm taking it one small goal at a time and working toward a lifestyle change instead of a crash diet like I normally would. Looking forward to getting to know all of you and sharing in baby's milestones :) Speaking of which, B just got her first tooth!

Congrat's on the new baby Schylar! I am assuming Jackson is an awesome boy? When I was pregnant with my first, I gained 80 pounds. At the time, I thought I could lose no problem. People told me to rest alot and that the losing weight would come later. It never did. 250 crept on me fast. The next thing I knew, I was at 298 with two kids and I didn't know how that happened. So its great to realize it now. Truly, the hardest part is over. Now do something about it. Everyday. No matter what.

Hey! I'm Schylar. I just had my first baby on May 24, 2010. I'm a single mother of Jackson Alexander. (who is a really awesome baby, trust me!)

I had lost a lot of weight but when I stopped working out, I gained it all back and then some.... then I got pregnant, so I've gotten up to a whopping 250 pounds. I want to be 150 - 175 to be happy and healthy.

My baby boy is 10 months old. I gained alot of weight during my pregnancy. (90 or so lbs.) I had grand ideas of losing it quickly after he was born but I badly injured my tailbone during his birth. I am beginning to feel better finally and now I really want to get this weight off. I'm tired of making excuses.

I am a new mommy of (almost) 3 month old, Evan. Being a mom is the greatest accomplishment of my life. Every pound that I gained during my pregnancy is more than worth it, but I am ready to take them off! I have about 10 pounds to lose to get back to my pre-pregnancy weight, but I would like to lose about 35 pounds more. I am going back to work next week and I am not sure how to find time to take care of Evan, work, keep up with my two graduate courses, work out, and try to get some sleep in there!

My 4 week old has a few symptoms that are concerning me. She has her 1 month appointment on Friday but I wanted to get some advice from some mothers. Her symptoms:
-Bloated belly (no just after feedings)
-Gasy
-Gets fussy shortly after feeding until she goes to sleep
-Fussy most of the time she is awake
-Is hungry about every 2-2 1/2 hours on 4 oz of milk
Any suggestions? She has been on the sam formula since birth and this just started happening about a week ago. Any thoughts?

I am 36 year old mother of 3. 7 years, 2 years and 5 1/2 months. The two oldest are girls and the baby is our boy. They keep me going that is for sure. I find it hard to get enough time and attention during the day. Working full time and then having to still work out and wanting to spend time with the kids, it is frustrating.

1 bite at a time = 1 choice at a time.

I'm actually the grandmother of a 9 month old boy (not a parent). I take care of him during the day while my daughter is at work, so thought perhaps my child-rearing interests would be similar to those on the list. He's a big little boy, so I'm getting more fit just taking care of him, but I'd like to go all the way and get as fit and healthy as I can possibly be. I've been working around the edges of it for several years now, experimenting with different approaches to exercise and nutrition, and it finally all seems to be coming together. I also write a food blog called Whatcom Locavore ( http://whatcomlocavore.com/ ) about eating only food produced in the county where I live. I'm looking forward to seeing the discussions here!

Hello, I'm Tiffany! I'm new to the team & am looking for a Team Buddy! I'm a 25(almost 26) year old, 1st time mom(5 month old). Hello! I'm a stay-at-home mom to my 4 month old son. My husband and I have been married for about 2.5 years. I have a Bachelor's in English, and I used to work as a paralegal before we had the baby. I've already lost the baby weight (13lbs) plus an additional 18 pounds, but I'm hoping to lose between 20-30 more. Hello everyone! I am new to this site. I am 33, and a stay-at-home-mom of 3 kids. Our oldest daughter will be 8 next month, our son will be 6 in September and our youngest daughter is 14 months. I have a wonderful husband who farms and I adore our kids (almost all of the time... lol). I gained quite a bit of weight with our first daughter and still have most of that to lose. Thankfully, I didn't gain much with the last 2 and lost most of that right away. But yeah, we have a long way to go. I really want to be healthy and set a positive example for our kids! :)

HELLO everybody. My name is Rhonda Slade. My daughter is 1. She is a maniac, especially if I'm trying to exercise. She is a true mama's girl, and I love it. The only down part is that if were at home, I can't do anything in the house unless she sleeping, which hardly happens. If it does, it's for a few minutes like 10 15 or so. I have let myself go so much that I am in the obese section of my height and weight standards. It's getting better especially with this sparkpeople program and tracking. I love it. Hello Everyone!!
I am a mother of 5!! I have a 19yr, 13 yr, 11yr, 9yr, and a 4 month old!
I am so ready to lose this baby weight! Actually it is after baby weight! I lost 28 pounds when I was pregnant. I lost 21 more pounds I
when I had him, but I have since gained it ALL back.

Hi, I'm a 29 year old married (for 6 years) mom of 2. I've got a 2 & 1/2 year old son & a [breastfed] 5 month old daughter. My eating has gotten out of control & I'm looking to lose this baby weight (& more! ~ 40 lbs.). I'm in no rush, but I'm just sick of being flabby & fatigued. I'm looking forward to being able to vent on these boards - everyone seems like such great motivation! I'm excited to see what everyone else's strategies are, too! :) emoticon

Hi everyone! I'm Erin...mother to 1-year old Wyatt. I am just beginning to realize what it's like to chase after an infant/toddler everyday. It's hard work! I never knew how fast a baby could "army crawl" across the floor! Anyway, I have a wonderful husband and an 11-year old step-son that we don't get to see very often. I have a very busy lifestyle and find it difficult to eat right most of the time. I'm hoping that some of the other busy moms can give me some tips on incorporating activity and healthy (quick!) meals on this journey. To all...best wishes and much luck!
