This is what works for me - most nights anyway. Right after dinner I clean up the kitchen, then I turn out the lights and mentally tell myself the kitchen is closed for the night, I don't usually go back to get anything to eat until I take my evening pills around 8:30 then I have to have something in my stomach so I eat some cheese or something light like that and I don't go back. Also, the older I get the earlier I go to bed, most nights I'm in bed and asleep before 9:30 at night.

I hope you'll come find us in Club 52.

I need to get up, brush myself off and keep doing it until I learn to do it right!

Thank you for the thoughts. I myself would not have a problem staying away from the kitchen late of an evening. I do need to have a small snack as my blood sugar goes to low at night if I don't. I think my DH now understands how I feel about always being in there looking for things for him to eat. As I mentioned, I then end up eating for me. Will look for that other group. Take care and healthy eating to you.

I feel I have lost it completely. I have to get it back. Every night its, what is there to eat in the house and by the time I say it all then I want to eat as well. Multiple trips to the kitchen each night doesn't help and I eat most of those trips as well. I'm lost in a tail spin. I am diabetic with high blood pressure and weigh about 320 currently. Any advise would be so very appreciated. Thanks in advance.
