Tracy, I'm so glad you're here. I was at 330 pounds when I joined this team, and in less than 6 months, I'm down to 278.5, partly because this team doesn't judge and doesn't let me quit. Hang in there!

Welcome back Tracy! Come join us in Club52 that's where we all chat and weigh in every week.

I know several people who have gone overseas to teach. They all seem to love it.

There's a lot of us on this team struggling with the same things you are.
I'm struggling too, this whole year I have been losing and gaining the same 5 pounds, it's crazy. A month ago I started doing Keto, I lost 9.5 lbs. in two weeks, the 3rd week I gained 2 pounds back and I'm afraid I'm going to gain this week too. I'm just so frustrated.

I hope you'll come join us in Club52!

So long, that I don't know how long it's been. I've been sitting here for about 10 minutes now, trying to think about what I want to say...so I'll start at the beginning.

I'm 40 years old and around 350 (give or take). I live overseas as an missionary/English teacher in Taiwan. I love it, but I've basically become homebound as I can't walk more than around my house or around the office. I sit for most of my classes that I teach. First it was my knees...then because I sat so much and got so complacent, I have hip and back pain when I try to start walking for more than a couple minutes.

I'm overwhelmed by the prospect of having so much weight to lose. I know what I'm supposed to do, but for some reason I find it really difficult to do those things, so I need to start somewhere. I have plenty of cheerleaders to cheer me along on the sidelines, but not really the support I need when it's time to not eat chips again for dinner. Ireally want to learn to cook more, as I never really learned. I've always eaten whatever is quick and easy. I also want to start moving and get my booty moving again.

Thanks for this group. I hope that I can be encouraging to others as we traverse this path together.
