Welcome back!!! We bought an x-box & kinect just for my exercise... We're only using the game that came with it... Adventure games... but it gets me moving.

Hi Carolyn! It's good to have you back! I'm glad you're back on track and are doing well.

It's hard for most of us to make friends. Try not to worry about that now, just concentrate on getting healthy.

Maybe in the future you can join a gym or some walks or runs? A good way to meet people.

I'm back....yet again. Going to give this another try (back to the weight I was this time last year). This time; however, my doctor recently upped my thyroid med and I now feel 'normal' after however many months of not (search hypothyroidism symptoms and I was experiencing just about everything on the list).

I'm excited to get back on track. Working with my nutritionist/lifestyle counselor again, eating better, working out. My biggest fear which became a big stumbling block previously - when I lose weight I'm more active and social, but I don't really have many local friends/people to do stuff with and I'm incredibly shy. So it's almost a catch 22. I'm not sweating that now (because I've regressed into being my usual hermit (thanks to depression from hypothyroidism), but I'm fully aware it will be an issue just not sure how to change it especially since I live in a rural community and work from home. Just something else to work on.

Right now my plan is to start eating better this week (going grocery shopping with my nutritionist Thursday) and gradually work in exercise (recumbent bike currently). Then on the 30th, I'll really kick in with both healthier eating and exercise full force. In the past I did EA Sports Active 2 on the Wii and it was a tremendous help, but I've since sold my Wii and bought a Xbox with Kinect. I can't find the EA game for the Xbox and what I've tried on the Xbox just isn't the same. My nutritionist is going to show me a workout routine her son (who's a fitness instructor/coach) created on the 30th - so hopefully that will replace the EA game. I do have my bike and various Xbox games, so I do have plenty of options.

Glad to see some of the same people here along with some newer people :) Hope to reconnect/connect with some of you. We can do this!!!!!!
