It was confusing for me, too but I learner to always begin at the start page. All of your daily statistics are there in the form of trackers. You list your starting weight and the site tells you what your Bimini number is (which can be a shock!) Once you do that you post all of your food in the food tracked for all meals and snacks. The program sets your calories amount for each day. I find it helpful to read the blogs listed on the right side of the start page. Once you begin reading you realize that they have had a tough time and it always makes me feel better about how I 'm doing. You can read about each level of weight loss and what help you can find under the healthy lifestyles section. The program starts with the fast break portion and if seeing some pounds melt off right away sounds good to keep you motivated then do everything it says. My goal is 1-2pounds each week. The first week was 5 and then 4 the next! Hopefully this will help. Good luck!

Hey NYCwordgirl, the site is complex with information, to figure out the easiest way (and you gain spark points)... is to look to the right, and scroll down under the "Team Stream" Then it says Team Stats, hen Site Quick links.... that is what you want.
Under the SITE QUICK LINKS IS an option called Getting started Guide. You may have already done a bunch of the things on the page but you check them off if you understand them, but it goes through setting up your email preferences and how to find motivational links as well as exercise videos and also how to set up your goals.
Work your way through all of those and I think You get like 500 or more Spark points BUT even better you will understand more about the who site and how to navigate through it. (basically the online tutorials)
I hope this helps you and keeps you inspired to keep that 5 minutes a day challenge and perhaps even up a 10 minute block of time once you know how to go through the Getting Started goals.

be authentically you...
it's journey, not a one day hike.

A suggestion to get you steps. Go to our team page, scroll dwn until you find Daily Challenge thread. Open it and scroll down until you find a post by Sandymisa with a gold solid circle on it. there will be two links, one easier, one harder exercise. Go to this thread each day for one week and find the daily exercise. Low key, try it, it might work for you. : )
What do you think?????? Wanna try?

Hello Team,

I joined Spark about two months ago and haven't really gotten used to working with this yet. I'm having trouble responding to e-mails and I need to find those on line tutorials about how to navigate this program.

I like your team idea of a 5 minute daily challenge which sounds manageable and can help me focus on getting on track.

I'm not motivated to keep up with an exercise routine and, quite frankly, I don't have confidence that I can lose weight. I think if I even saw a 2-3 pound loss I would feel a glimmer of confidence starting.

I'd appreciate any ideas or helpful support.

Thank you!
