Yay! Thanks for the welcome all! I'm at the hotel tonight, which means UGH treadmill training. Makes me long for the pretty run outdoors.

Yesterday is but a dream, tomorrow but a vision. But today well lived makes every yesterday a dream of happiness, and every tomorrow a vision of hope. Look well, therefore, to this day.

I think I know the trail in Denver that you're talking about, Beth, and I'm so envious! The last time I visited Denver, I ran or biked that trail every day. It was lovely! Good luck getting back in the swing of it!

Hey Beth,

Very cool that you are back to it! I'm also starting a new program to get my body used to running again. I'm with you on the dreadmill, intervals are fine, but long runs are brutal. Sounds like you have a nice trail to go on, so outside is your best choice.

Hope you have a fantastic week!!

Cheers,
Trish

emoticon back to your fitness and health routine. I agree with you on long runs. They aren't my favorite either. If you can set a consistent time to do your runs, you are most likely going to be successful on being consistent.

I'm getting back into a fitness and food routine, so I'm getting back into my running shoes too. I don't really "love" running, but I love how easy it is to lace up and go whether I'm at home or on the road for work. I can't ever seem to get myself motivated to do long runs on a treadmill, but they're great for interval workouts for me. I'm lucky enough to live next to a beautiful running trail in downtown Denver, so I try to get myself and my dog out on that path for 3-5 mile run once a week or so.

Yesterday is but a dream, tomorrow but a vision. But today well lived makes every yesterday a dream of happiness, and every tomorrow a vision of hope. Look well, therefore, to this day.
