Just joined this team this morning and must say I was impressed with the mult email responses. Great job with that. Made me feel very welcome! A little about me and my goals. I started weight loss and walking in January 2015. Could barely walk 1/2 mile. I am now down 33 lbs and just "Ran/Jogged" a 5K this past saturday. It was my 2nd 5K this year 1st one I walked. I did the spark people training to get to that running fitness level. I have had to go slower than I would have thought. 50 year old body needs more rest and time to adjust.

I have another 5K end of June and would like to run that one and maybe improve on my times. Starting a new Map My Run training program. Goal is to do a 10K and then a half marathon by next spring.

I am open minded and would love any advise. I am so new but very willing to learn from others.
