I do the same thing as Catnips...I eat roughly every three hours to keep my blood sugar up and keep the snacking at bay. Good luck with the last 10 pounds!

Welcome to the team, MBMum! emoticon I find eating every three hours instead of three big meals helps me stay within my caloric budget.

I know what you mean about measuring everything, not easy to do when time is short and we are hungry. I have started making meals on the weekend to be put in the freezer so I don't have all of the prep after work. The most important aspect for me is exercise, sometimes have to back off a little, have a back injury from a fall on the ice a couple of winter ago.

All great advice. Kind of difficult to eat so many small meals through the day when I am busy at work, try to sneak in a morning and afternoon snack.
I walk to work and back about 20 minutes each way. Getting very dangerous to walk now with the ice, but will as often as possible plus home exercise.

Welcome! This is a great place for your goals - I found the mini strength training sessions great - I hate spending a lot of time doing that at the gym, so I just wasn't doing it. This was a perfect solution.

Well hi there! Good luck with losing 10 lbs. The only thing I can think of that might help is watch what you eat. Eat about 6 small meals a day and just walk around your neighborhood or if you have a YMCA join them. I know the one I go to has classes for seniors. emoticon

Welcome to the team! My pitfall is not accurately measuring and counting my calories. If I do that right, I always lose faster.

Hi!! I am starting the Bootcamp today.
Female, 65 years young. Need to lose the last 10 pounds to my goal weight, and strengthen my abs and just be as healthy as possible. Would love to hear suggestions for extra exercise, food tips, anything that has been successful for others.
