Welcome, JOSH! You are a great addition to the team. It's our little refuge.

We have a 17-day December challenge going, if you're in the mood for something like that. Participants choose one or more goals or action steps (could be wt loss or new habit) they want to work on for 17 days. Any 17 days. Don't have to be consecutive. December is a tough month. Check out "17 day" in the challenge forum. If interested, just post and get started. It's another way to meet people.

We also have a virtual "Be strong and sexy" gym, where you can let your imagination run wild. Any kind of equipment you want, pretend it's there. That's another hangout where people discuss their exercise.

Lots of fun stuff. Post anything you like. Join any team discussion. I love this team. Great people here.

Hi and welcome to the team.

The Jesus and God stuff drives me crazy too emoticon

Smile .... it makes people wonder what you're up to ;-)

It is far easier to MAKE time to exercise than it is to FIND time to exercise. You want results???? MAKE it happen.

Keep trying - you CAN do it - believe in yourself!

Hi Josh! :-)
I thought I was agnostic too, for years, until I realized what being an atheist really meant. :-) I thought atheists said there was NO God, PERIOD. Some do, I'm sure, but most say it's that there is no evidence for a god and if some evidence was brought forward as truth, then they'd be all for it, but since there's not and hasn't been, they don't believe it. So- I realized that I am an atheist. :-) I'm like you- people can believe whatever... no skin off my nose. :-)
I'm glad you found this team. It is full of amazing and intelligent people and you'll learn a lot! Good luck with your weight loss journey! :-)

My name is Josh and I am an Agnostic with an inclination towards atheism. I am willing to let everyone beleive in whatever they choose to beleive in and am even willing to talk about it with them. As long as no one tries to club me over the head with thier beliefs then we are golden. I am a 32 year old husband and father of two wonderful children.

I am so glad that I stumbled across this team because while I really enjoy spark people I was going to go bonkers the next time that I was told that Jesus/God would help me lose weight.

I weighed in at 280 in April after having lost about 50 pounds. Then I stopped smoking and things went a little crazy. I am sitting at 350 right now and trying to get back on track. I guess the good news for me is that I am still not smoking. I am looking forward to getting to know all of you and sharing in a comuunity that I can feel comfortable in.

Thanks

Josh
