Well considering how "anti-pasta" the SP site is, it's not surprising he would be challenging you this way. I'm not sure what the overall chruch's stance is on whole grain pasta really.

Well the odd thing is that it is supposed to automagically, yes, I said automagically, copy it to the clipboard for you. Depending on what browser you use, this may or may not get a prompt for you to let it do that when using Tinyurl or any other site that can do similar.

So in theory after entering in the address and continuing you should see two follow-up links to use and have one you simply need to paste where ever you need to post it.

When I try to paste the link in the "add a link" box, the box disappears. I'll try it by typing it in:

And then you can make it even harder by learning to use Tinyurl to always ensure you dont bleed spam a blog comment. :)

Tinyurl is simple. Just a lot of folks dont like taking the extra step usually. I'm seriously guilty of it myself. However, I did notice with blog comments that it can save you from mucking up the formatting for your response or getting cut off. Seems to affect all browsers from time to time.

Redundant link to Tinyurl.com:
tinyurl.com/

Example of one in use:
tinyurl.com/8vp3f

Maybe that will be of some use for us'all.

Is this the one you meant, SWIFTURTLE SUE?
KITPING, you are educating us heathens. I had heard a news story about this a while back, but I didn't know how far-reaching that noodly appendage had become.

It took me months to find out how to get a link to work. So, I'd better teach you SWIFTY GIRL, since you're finding these cool links.

There's a box between "spell check" and "add an emoticon" that says "add a link". Open that and paste your link info there. Click on the "add a link" button to the right of the added info. Then, it works just like emoticons do.

emoticon I've been looking for a new church to join. In the 80's there was the Church of Bob. I didn't know what this newer church was until now. I think I've seen that logo around.

Sorry the link won't post: FSM religion, wiki

Hi again Kitping. Are you enjoying the cloud cover today? Me too.
I'm a member of the FSM church myself - more things in common.

Hi Kitping.
I am a lurker also and then once in a while, I just burst out in song and dance.
Very happy to meet you. Lurk away.

I'm happy you were guided in our direction. I was in the Puget Sound area for a couple of weeks for work 20 years ago and found it very beautiful. I live in a suburb of Milwaukee with a husband and 2 cats. My 3 toddlers are grown women.

Lurking is as good a method as any for getting to know people. As you read what others have to say, one day you'll be unable to resist participating. I think you'll get in the swing of things, too. It's a great group of people, and we'd like to get acquainted with you, too.

I just found this group and Liberal Atheist Hippies. All I can say is, thank the FSM for reaching out His noodle and guiding me here! ;) I live in the Puget Sound area of Washington and teach elementary music. Got a toddler and a cat and never any good idea what to say in these intros, so, um, hi!

I have a bad habit of lurking on message boards, especially when I'm new. But I'll get into the swing of it, I'm sure.
