I haven't signed up for Bunny Hop yet. I've done that one twice in recent years. Lots of up and down. I will consider doing it again.
I am registered for Feel the Spirit (week before Bunny Hop - in Cheektowaga) and John Beishline 5K (May 28th).

BuffaloKay... What have you signed up for so far for 2017? I have my eye on the Bunny Hop as I am hoping to be able to do the miles by then. I am currently only 1.5 miles in 30 minutes. Hoping the hip can work up to it by then.

I grew up in Buffalo and have lived in WNY for almost all of my 60 years. Now live in Amherst.
When you are ready for that 5K walk Mary, I'd love to walk with you. I try to do as many local 5Ks as I can, getting to new ones each year along with some annual favorites.

Hi! My name is Terrilee (Terri) and I'm from Amherst.

My goal is to be at 130 by my birthday in November. As of my last weigh in, I was at 155. I also want to tone up. My highest was 166 back in 2009. For I'm only 5'0", my doctor says I'm overweight and should be around 115...I think 130 is a healthy compromise...I don't want to get sick by losing 35 lbs all at once.

I work for a law firm downtown and am on my feet all day (I'm one of the file clerks) and run errands for them. My pedometer has been attached to my hip since January and I feel horrible if I don't have it on. Twice a week, I go walking with my boyfriend at the track at Delaware Park.

Hey there! This is Joanne from OP.

Let's see. By July, I would like to have hit the 100 pounds lost mark. I've hit a few road blocks these past few months, but I'm working on getting back on track.

So far, I have lost almost 76 pounds.

Fun thing about me - I actually get to work at my ideal job, working with kids. I have 2: 1 - split shift for a bus company as a monitor with special needs kids; 2 - babysitting a 2 year old in between shifts.

Hi! My name is Kelly

I would like to accomplish a weight loss goal by the end of July. My goal is to reach a number I haven't been able to get to in about 10 years. I'm sure most of us who struggle with weight loss have a number on the scale they'd like to get to or pass. This is the year I'm going to do it!

I've just started back on my weight loss journey. I'm new to SP. So far I love the support and great ideas. I have about 80 pounds to lose and have lost 6 so far. Small steps at this point.

Buffalo is my hometown. I have just recently relocated back to wny after living in Texas for almost two years. It's good to be home again :)

1. hi there I am Jamie
2. by july 4 I would like to have lost 30 lbs. I have been struggling alot the past few months. Not walking as much as I should. I was taken off work in january, pending surgery for a torn rotator cuff. Basically I am not taking it very well, therfore my efforts are going nowhere. I need to get back in the right mindset and get back on track, which is why I am back now.

2. What you would like to accomplish by...let's day July 4th: I'd like to lose another 15-20 pounds and start jogging. I have a recent knee injury so its put my plans on hold a little bit. Praying it heals soon so I can work on the c25k program!

3. How far you've come on your weight loss journey: I've lost 46 pounds since last year. I don't lose very fast, so my journey is slow and steady. I'd like to lose at least that much more again this year.

4. Something fun about you! I just moved to North Buffalo in November. I haven't gotten a chance to meet any new people yet, so it's been quite boring lol. I'm not from that far away. I moved here from Silver Creek. My husband and I have been married roughly 2.5 years and I'm still waiting for a little bundle of joy to add to our household. I started playing racquetball at Bally's in January. Its my new love! Great workout!

Hi Pauline - BuffaloKay here. Been on SparkPeople for more than two years and in that time, this team has not been bery active except for a short time in 2010.

I haven't set any recent weight loss goals, but I do have a goal to "run" at least one road race each month this year. So far this year, I did the Penguin Run 5K in January and the Disney Princess HM in February and will be doing a 5K - JASR in Pittsburgh next week.

Best of luck meeting your goals and with getting others to respond to this thread.
