Hi Marie my name is Carol and welcome. I have recently lost 180lbs with 70 more to go its good to hear your going to the gym and congrats on the 25lbs. Eating is the most difficult because it requires change in our habits and thats not easily done but it can be done if we have the discipline and the determination to do it without these 2 we are going to fall. I would like to suggest some help in your eating and hope to get you going again.

You need to eat breakfast this meal must not be skipped it is so key to weight loss. Its gets your metabolism going for the day. Eat things like chicken, turkey, fish and lean red meat. Dark green veggies fruits and nuts and at least 8 glasses of water a day. Find a workout that you enjoy doing like walking, dancing any type of aeorbics and a little weight training. Weight training builds muscle and the more muscle you have the more fat you will burn. Hope you give this a try and let us know how you are doing. Good luck to you.

Hello my name is Marie I live in upstate NY, I am married and have a beautiful three year old daughter who helps to keep me active. If it wasn't for her I would probably be a couch potato. I too have tried different ways to lose weight with not too much luck. I was part of weight watchers, lost 20 pounds but just stopped going. I used to go to TOPS with my mom and sister when I was in my late teens but then they stopped going and so did I. I tried curves but it seems everytime I start a program the folks who wanted to go stop going and so do I. I finally decided a year ago to sign up for a gym because if I am paying for it I will go. I have stuck to going and lost 25 pounds but still have a long ways to go. I have fallen off track with my eating but still go to the gym as much as possible though. Hopefully this program will keep me on track with my eating. It is an amazing site!
