I joined the BLC, but being a stay-at-home DAD, I like this free site better.
I really need the ability to enter the food I'm eating and see the calories.
It's great accountability to have to enter everything.
I was serious for about 2 months on BLC and decided to get serious again today here on SP. I went on vacation and never got back on track.

My starting weight back in April 2008 was 340+. I say + because my scale didn't go that high. I lost 16 pounds my 1st week on BLC and then only a couple of pounds/week after that. I got down to 309 before vacation. While I didn't exercise for 2 weeks, I tried to be reasonable in my eating and managed to lose another 5 pounds. I haven't officially weighted in since 304.8 (doing it today). I have seen numbers there and as high as 310. I will weigh-in today.
I also have been doing a fair job of logging my food for the last couple of weeks here on SP except when we go to a buffet to eat. Now, going forward, I plan on entering everything AND trying to stay under my max calories.
I'm not a big forum posting type of guy, but am very competitive and like the accountability of having to report results.
Anyways interested to see what exactly it means to be part of this group!
