Hi, Welcome from me here in Australia.

I am an absolutely dreadful gardener but I dream about having a productive garden. I almost wrote "hopeless" but that's not true! Since joining this group I've summoned up the courage to plant a few herbs (they r still alive, yay!)and this week I might lash out again and plant the greens that I've bought the seeds for!

Gosh, it is hard with any chronic condition that affects your capacity to exercise etc. I had undiagnosed pernicious anaemia for quite some time and it made every day a struggle for the energy to get through.

We r heading into winter here, not too extreme but I used to live in tropical north queensland so it has taken some getting used to. What's the climate like in Southern Ontario, I'm really enjoying learning more about parts of the U.S. from my Spark groups.

All the best V.

Hi and Welcome from Kansas!!
My gardening is mainly flowers. Love to watch flowers get buds and open and then I love to take photos of them!
I have two small vegetable gardens. One with tomatoes and asparagus, the other one with squash and cucumbers.
I also love to plant in containers. Again mostly flowers but I do have a Cherry tomato plant in a pot on my deck right outside my kitchen door!

Gardening is so exciting!! and Fun!!

Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be cumbered with your old nonsense.

I'm from southern NH but have lots of rellies - step brother and sister of my Mum and their families - in your neck of the woods. We used to visit freqently in the past but haven't been up to Canada in some time. I remember one cousin used to grow beautiful dahlias, something I've not had much success with here.

Welcome to the Team, Joanna. I am Sunny from Missouri (Zone 5). Nice to meet you. We have had a very wet spring but have the garden in now and it is doing well. I love the Toronto area. I also love Niagara Falls, Canada. The flowers there are so very spectacular.

Again - Nice to meet you and we look forward to getting to know you. This is a great Team and I am sure you are going to fit right in.

Sunny emoticon I raise hybrid sunflowers some of which were hybridized in Canada. It always amazes me where my Sunflower seeds come from.

Good morning.

With gardening season upon us, I wanted to join a gardening team and I picked yours because it appears active and because there's not too many members.

I live in Southern Ontario, 1 hour west of Toronto and although I love gardening, I have had to cut back due to health issues.

I'm 49 years old, married for 25 years, have no children by choice, have one cat and have rheumatoid arthritis and back problems.

This year, I only planted tomatoes (2 cherry and 1 beefsteak), basil, parsley, rosemary and green onions in my actual gardens.

I also planted geraniums, verbena, lobelia and begonias in my various window boxes and urns.

I'm looking forward to chatting with others about their gardens.

My name is Joanna not Joanne, please and thank you.
