Hiya skyward!!! Welcome to the team.

I have been bike commuting 100% of the time for two and a half years. It started with a Saturday ride to judge the route and distance for me.

I reccomend a Saturday ride. Also remember that the main road is NOT the ideal route. Always take the side ryes whenever possible.

My first ride was just an afternoon ride home. Then I rode in the next morning. I kept my next days clothes in the car. If you have A shower then bring your shower stuff. If you do not, then bring some baby wipes. They are a life saver when you need to freshen up.

I started with just a book bag and a department store bike. But it has now progressed into a real process. Bike commuting has so many rewards. Exercise included, great for the environment, you can save a ridiculous amount of money on gas, AND you get to eat more!!!

Just not that much emoticon
