Oh man, that would be at least a 3 day trip for me. After about 65 miles it isn't much fun to me. Still sounds like fun to me.

Most competitive people do it in one day, it's about 200 miles. Not me, I don't see the point, all you would be doing is staring at the wheel in front of you. My husband and I do it in two days. 148 miles the first day and then 70 something the second day.

I have never ridden with that many, it would scare me to death. I think 500 has been the biggest ride I've done. We usually ride a tandem, but I do have a single road and mountain bike. How long does the RSVP take?

Hello Bev! The RSVP is beautiful and Cascade limits the ride to 1,000, so it not as intense as the STP which can have up to 8,000 riders. I think a lot of women view bicycling as being unsafe. But you are right about the guys too! emoticon

Welcome to the team. That part of the country is absolutely beautiful. Both rides sound great, but think I would like the RSVP, the party part is irresistible.

I have trouble getting women to ride with too. I think part of it is because we have responsibilities at home that the guys feel free to ignore.

I'm still getting used to this Spark thing. I love to bicycle. I wish more women would join me. My two big goals this year are the STP (Seattle to Portland Bicycle Classic) & the RSVP (Ride from Seattle to Vancouver B.C. and party) I've done both in the past but not both of them in the same year. emoticon
