You are most welcome Brad. It has been in the 40's here and rainy, not what I enjoy riding in. Next week should warm up to the 50's and be a bit drier so we may take to the woods and try out the new mountain bike.

Thanks for the advice on the gloves mewpolo. I'll have to check them out. Since we usually ride a tandem I don't have to worry about shifting or breaking, but I sure like to be warm.

I highly recommend (if you are biking in temps at or below 32degrees farenheit) that you get "lobster claw" gloves, which allow your pinky and ring finger, and first and second finger to be together inside the gloves. IT really prevents the fingers from getting cold.

Thanks Beverly for the help! Haven't ridden this week. It has gotten cold here and I am going this weekend to get some cold weather gear but I have been spinning in the gym... LOL nothing like the open road though!

Go to your spark page and click edit. It should show up as an option at the bottom of the page. There are lots of backgrounds and markers to choose from.

Welcome from Alabama Brad. DH brought me kicking and screaming into the cycling world, but I am hooked now. He has a single road and mountain bike, I usually ride a tandem (we have a road and mountain tandem), but he got me a mountain bike of my very own. When it dries out and warms up a bit I will be out on the trails. It is a great workout I must say.

Howdy,
I am Brad and I am a cycling fiend. I have just gotten back into my fitness and healthy way of life. I am 26 and I have let my fitness go in the past few years due to going to college and gaining the freshman 15 followed by the sophomore 15 etc. It snowballed to 60 lbs. and I have lost 10 of those so only 50 more to go. I have been lifting and riding as often as possible. I look forward to participating with you guys. Oh almost forgot I am from Texas.
Thanks,
Brad
