Hi there! And WELCOME!

I have known of folks with issues regarding their pituitary gland ( a child--my daughter's best friend)she had a non-cancerous tumor on it-very large.

What are they doing to get yours back in order, and do they have any idea how long or what happened?

Looking forward to learning as always and again, WELCOME!

All the best,
Barb G

Hi there,

Im from England and thought your group was about what I'm looking for!

Not only am I horribly overweight, but I also have an over-active Pituitary Gland - actually, when I say 'over-active' I mean it's at Olympian Medal standards and I am seriously thinking of entering it into the 2012 competitions...

Dont know if you guys know what it is - but its a powerful litle sucker for being the size of a small pea. Its in the centre of the brain and Ive decided it must be female, as it controls Nearly Everthing..

My one is pretty busy in there - where your prolactin levels are meant to be between 400-500, mine last week was measured at a slightly staggering 13,800 - which even shut me up when the doctor told me! I was half exepcting my head to explode with the sheer activity of what was going on in there!

Anyway - just got back from an MRI scan tonight and feeling a little weird. But also excited as its my first day of the new me - Ive spent HOURS on this site today and I guess the only way is up.

I have 50 pounds to lose - and hope that once I get this little Olympian back under control, it may be achievable as everything else will hopefully get back in line too.

Its good to meet you all - I hope we can all do this journey together and I look forward to meeting you all in due course..

Any other pituitary gland owners out there with problems? I'd love to hear from you!

Best wishes

Arasnella
