I have to agree with Larissa. I was diagnosed in 1988 and gained over 100 pounds. Now I am on the losing side and weigh around 240. I started by weighing 280. Welcome to the team.

Welcome! I gained about 100 pounds from medication and bad eating. I've managed to lose about 60 pounds from where I started, with hard work, exercise and a proper diet. It's harder to lose weight on medications, but it's not impossible. You just have to work harder.

Hi all--my name is Melissa. I'm 30. I was diagnosed bipolar type 1 when I was 18. Due to my lovely medications, I have gained 80 pounds. So, here I am. I hope to make some friends and get/give some support. Nice to meet you all!
