Hi, my name is Tabitha. I have been gluten-free since January 2008. After initial improvement, my health declined again. Eating well and supplementing nutrients did nothing to stop the decline So, I had a metabolic panel and food allergy panel done at the beginning of this year. I got the results on 3/11, when I became aware of all my other allergies. They contain many of the foods I have come to rely on as the basis for my diet in the last two years. emoticon They include corn, soy, milk, cheese, eggs, white potato, garlic, ginger, asparagus, lettuce, walnuts, coconut, eggplant, tomato, green pepper, crab, and mustard. I joined Spark hoping it will help me track my nutrients and help me motivate myself to continue fighting to get myself back.

When I said to my friend "that which doesn't kill us makes us stronger," he replied "then you must be strong as an ox!" I always thought of myself as weak because of all my food allergies, but he made me look at myself in a whole different way.
