Tiggerbrat....WELCOME to the team. You are going to love the C25K program. It is the ONLY thing that got me running....and when I started I was over 220 pounds! It is what helped me lose my weight!

Hi Everyone - I'm new. I just joined this team today. I'm REALLY new to running - I just remember enjoying it when I was younger. I really hope to pick it up again. Right now I look ridculous if I try to run, because I'm too big - but it's a goal! I'm learning as much as I can about running, so when I'm running weight, I'll have a good start. ;-)

ohhh....ladies....I have always wanted a tattoo. A dragon on my right shoulder blade. How cool would that be? Good luck with the C25K....it was the only thing that got me running!! Woo Hoo!!

Hi Anne - No way!! I'm thinking about a Celtic/Star design for my tattoo! Count me in on the Couch to 5K program - sounds like a great plan.

Hi Spud! Welcome!! Cruz & I are just starting week 2 of the Couch to 5K program. Join us if you like!!
I have lost 25 pounds on Sparkpeople, and now it is much more about fitness than weight loss.

Oh, and I am ALSO considering getting a tattoo this year!!! Maybe a Celtic/dragon design......hmmmmmm

I'm a newbie to the group - I checked out the other running teams and this one seems like a good fit for me. (Even though I'll be a "master" in 3 months, yikes!) You all seem like fun people to "hang" out with. I've been running/hobbling for about 10 years. I've always been a slow runner, have dropped out of training for three different marathons due to injuries (I think my body really wasn't made for it, duh!)but I keep on truckin'. No more marathon attempts for me. I think I'll get a tattoo instead of running a marathon. The pain won't last as long and I'll still be able to walk! emoticon
