UPDATE - Here is my reframing of what I started to write: (see the original below) I had a great week for exercise since I had an opportunity to push myself to walk say more than usual. I made lots of better food choices and drank my water too. Got lots of sparkpoints and earned another trophy. Had to reschedule my doctor appt and weight in to next week and I'm looking forward to it cuz I think I've lost a few pounds at least with all that walking! I finished my summer Substance Abuse Prevention Program courses (yay!) and have already started my grad counseling courses on Tuesday eves. My fiance' quit smoking about 10-12 days ago and he feels sooo much better!!! It was rough for both of us but he is so happy he did it! We are both breathing easier. Hope everyone else on the Team is reframing life in the positive - I feel so much more opitimistic than when I first started this post. (Here is my original post....Had a rough week or so with 2 meals out and having to walk more than my poor legs wanted to (car konked out last January so I'm bussing it around town and to classes). Tired and sore, and didn't always make the right choices.) Wishing you success in your goals

Welcome Charlee3, I have a small frame, petite, they call it. So every little pound could put me in the obese range (so says BMI). But I'm not gonna let that take away from my healthy goals! We can do it!

Hi everyone, I'm just beginning my journey here and want to take a positive step in the direction of my goals. So happy to see this spark team. I have begun my spark page and this morning entered my breakfast foods. Would love to hear from anyone, especially if you are 100 lbs or more above a healthy weight for your height. I can use positive encouragement and love to give it to others too. My special passions include: arts n crafts (esp. cross stitch n crochet), reading, writing, friends, kids, animals n nature (esp. dogs!), helping people, indoor/outdoor gardening, decorating, fashion, health, AND G-d, the Infinite One-ness. I'm 58, live in Eugene Oregon with my boyfriend, just finished a BA at U of O majoring in both Religious Studies and Judaic Studies, and am starting a graduate program at NCU here this week. My family includes 2 parti poodles, toy sz, a daughter in Washington, 3 teen grandkids and a set of twin great-granddaughters on the way! (Hope this isn't TMI!) Hope to hear from somebody so we can encourage each other. Enjoy the weekend!
