It is amazing how it can go back on way faster than it comes off. It's good that you've caught yourself when you did and are ready to get back on track. Take care...you know you can do this.

I'm restarting again after letting my eating get out of control and gaining a bunch of weight back.

So slow to lose... so fast to gain! After 6 weeks, being sick, and injuring my hip, I've gained 10 pounds...
So, time to get back on track!

Well 4 lbs isn't so bad at all then. Glad it's not more, it sounds like you expected worse.

I'm not sure about how to restart the weight tracker. I guess you could fake it out somehow; but, I've never tried to do that. I would probably just let it go as is anyway.

Glad you're back on the wagon!

The longer it takes it to come off the longer it will stay off!

The longer you keep it off the harder it is to put it back on!

Welcome back, MVMEME! It's very nice to see you again. Sorry to hear about your husband's ordeal. It's easy to understand how that affected your routine while you cared for him.

Maybe it's just because it is too late for me to think straight; but I don't understand what you are asking when you say things are 'out of synch'. Are you talking about your weight tracker bar? If you can help my slow brain, maybe I can help. :-)

i'm back! my husband was hospitalized for a week in May, then a month of recuperation and somewhere in taking care of him...i stopped tracking...was still eating reasonably but stopped tracking and my zumba classes had also finished for the summer at the university gym...i havent even measured my weight or anything else...but i bought a new scale to have at home...was using the one at on of the clinics here...so thought that would help me. also i realize that if i'm not tracking then it's ok to eat more since i dont know how much i'm eating does that make sense...i kinda just keep on...

should i wipe the slate clean, since the where i should be and where i am line are way out of sync now?

how to do that?

thanks

Hello everyone...I am restarting again. I've had alot go on in the past year. I was laid off work a few times, had a minor surgery, and now I am back in the game. I joined the local ymca a few months ago and took am ab class that help me realize just how out of shape I am. So I've been working out a few days a week, going to the classes at the ymca, and cutting back on calories. I'm ready to get started! emoticon
