emoticon It's good to hear you are so determined to stick to a plan. I find that reading lots of SP articles and participating on various message boards keeps me going. Several teams I belong to are of great help and I feel I have made friends all over the country and even some abroad.
I do not deny a little bit of something, but sure can't go overboard. I am very pleased that my food plan has become a way of life.
Right now I am not able to exercise for at least 3 months, but I am not going to use that as an excuse to go off my plan.
We can all help each other in this game!!!

Good job! I have that challenge coming up. It will be a big challenge too as I am having a huge party. I will be 60 this year and everyone I know is invited for a big cook out and a lot of drinking. I am hoping not to deny myself but at the same time not put the weight I lost back on.

Hi I'm Therese, and this is my introduction message. I've been using this website for a year on-and-off but only truly committed to it for almost 2 weeks and I'm so motivated that it was not too hard to stick to the plan for the first few days. Yesterday was the first challenge, it was my birthday and I'm so "trained" to celebrate good things with food that I really had to challenge myself to stay with the plan. I'm happy I did it, I don't wish I'd had cake and I feel like this year I'm giving myself a important gift. I can see already that diet and exercise will not be the hardest part for me. Staying motivated and remembering that it this is what I really want will be the challenge. Any suggestions?
