Yeah that's kinda what I thought - a calorie is a calorie. And yes, it's a quantity issue. If I can still fit in a nice single serving of dried fruit or low-fat graham crackers I should be okay. I don't eat "all night" it is just that my main time to relax is the 9-11 pm timeframe, and I like to snack while I chill. Just need to keep it sensible. What's amazing to me is how much I've learned about food during my 15 year bout with fat. I don't know everything, but I know enough not to be in the shape I'm in!

Hello! I think this site is pretty cool and may help me as it seems to be helping many others. I discovered the site accidentally while researching options for our company, which is planning to start a wellness program for our employees. I think this site (via Sparkteams) is going to end up playing a key role in our program, I just have a feeling!
I am off to a ROCKY start, I've been tracking fitness and calories intake for about a week, and I think I'm meeting my goals about 50% of the time. I'm a big snacker and have been trying to stick to single servings of dried fruit, rice cakes, graham crackers, baby carrots, etc. I tend to do great at work, get home around 5 with only half my calories used, and then I blow it at dinner and with late night snacking. We just got a new puppy and he needs constant supervision, so my Bowflex and treadmill routine is being challenged hard right now. Just hoping to make some friends and support eachother in meeting our goals.
