Yes, again I tried that but many things we eat are no where to be found. I have given up using the tracker and will continue to make notes and hope that it will work out. I cannot make time to enter each recipe as we make something different to eat each day. Thank you for your help though. Jeremy and Patricia

Another thing you can try is (when you are in the nutrition part entering your food) click on Add a food, then Enter a food not listed, its in the top right hand corner of the pop-up. Enter in the calories and other information.

This may help with the vegan question...Click on the HELP button towards the top of the page. There are several FAQ listed. Scroll down to nutrition tracker Q's. Click on the first Q to get help with turning off the meal plans and how you can search for your own food items. :)

I just got an e-mail from a SP member, and I thought I'd share it with everyone:

I saw a post in your class group that noone has answered yet and thought I would help you out if you could post the info to your class group that would be great.

Yes you can add your own meals, recipes etc.

To turn off the predetermined meals go to My Tools and My Nutrition and Change nutrition goals button.
Then down the page is the Use Spark People Meal plan. Uncheck that box if you want to manually enter your daily food.
Or leave it checked and then choose a kind of plan vegetarian, low sodium....etc.

Then chose save changes.

Then choose Add a food to your daily record.
In this tab there is Food Search, Favorites, and Food Groupings.
first search for the food you are looking for by using either the search for any of these words or to narrow it down check the all of these words button.

If you don't find the food you are looking for you can add it using the enter a food not listed button in that window.

If you find yourself adding multiple things to a meal for example the ingredients in a smoothie you can use the food groupings tab so you can add all the ingredients and then just add everything at once instead of each ingredient separately.

I was wondering the same thing. It doesn't seem like they have many meals for people who are vegan. What do people do then?

I was wondering if you can enter your own recipes or food items that are not listed here? Sometimes I am not able to eat from the list and would still like to log what I actually ate. Is there a way to do that?
