I joined Nutrisystem and lemme tell you, a big juicy steak sounds heavenly. The food is better than I thought it would be but nothing like homemade.Last night I pan seared shrimp for the first time successfully. A recipe I will pass down to my kids. OMG it was good. I ate a huge salad 5 shrimps and nutrisystem fetucini alfredo and skipped the hot roll but indulged in 3 huge strawberries in which I dipped in nutrisystem chocolate.(Thank goodness it melted!It has 4 grams of fiber!) I dipped the others in real chocolate.And they had rice.
But tomorrow is a family
Birthday party for all the Feb. Birthdays. Please wish me luck that I will be as strong.
BTW You did beeter than you think by sharing and not eating it all. PS What happened to the cake?

I want to be healthy and a little thinner along the way is a perk. I have the Eating healthy down pretty good. Portions and moving are the goal now!

I got off track last night. My boss came in and fixed dinner for night shift. I knew this was coming up and mentally prepared a plan of attack on the meal. Eat the salad, rice, mixed veggies, half a dinner roll first. Give or though away cherry cake and take the steak home to Jake (my furbaby). When the meal came it smelled so good. None the less I stuck to my guns but then lost it when I got home. I had eaten 5 bites of the steak when served and just before going home. Then shared the rest with Jake. The good thing is this only happens every three months.

Hi, I'm just getting started here and am looking forward to having encouragment through discouragement
