Picked up a People magazine at the vet's office and started an article on 8 people who lost hundreds of pounds. One consistent web site mentioned was I am so glad I check it out. This is exactly what I have been looking for to get me motivated!

I am a USAF veteran, 1977 to 1986. I loved it and wanted a career until the evil right knee caused my demise from the AF. And I have been eating my disappointment ever since, only to become "twice" the woman I used to be. And finally, I have had enough. Help!!

As previously mentioned, the evil right knee has been a bane to my existence for years until I finally got it replaced (for a total of 8 surgeries on the right knee and 2 on the left). It has caused me to fall and break my arm in multiple places. Falling has destroyed my back, making fusion from T1 to S1 a possibility.

So I have issues and am limited in what I am able to do. I do swim at the YMCA where I am a member but I need a workout buddy. Maybe the Cleveland Ohio team I also joined will come in handy--hope so!

Anyways, good luck to us all with our journeys to better health. I am happy to finally be some where with fellow veterans.
