Great books are made using both your journey and the lessons learned!. Happy Writing! emoticon

You gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face.

Mistakes are the portals of discovery.

Don't be afraid to give your best at what seemingly are small jobs. Every time you conquer one it makes you that much stronger. If you do the little jobs well, the big ones will tend to take care of themselves.

It is never too late to be what you might have been.

Writing in my journal has been a great outlet for me for years. It is like having a conversation with myself and discovering many answers to my problems and worries

Keep on track

emoticon TINANYKULAK and emoticon to the team...Nice to have you with us on the journey to a healthier lifestyle. emoticon on your success to date. I haven't published anything yet, but what you've said is so inspiring. So often we all have masterpieces tucked away in us, some of us actually write them down but don't share them. You've hit on a point that is missed, our life experiences have meaning, we may feel alone when we actually aren't and the lessons can be of value to many.

Keep up the good work!

I was married for 25 years, and then my husband died. He left such a void in my life that I didn't know what to do. I began journaling, but couldn't stop. I wrote about a woman who was trying to kill her husband, although the story began and ended as a wedding was about to begin. After many months of crying and writing, and of spilling anger and love onto the many pages, I decided I was done. A friend of mine saw this pile of papers on my desk at home and asked if she could read what I had written. Because I thought it was a bunch of nonsense, I agreed. She was blown away by all the passion, and the intriguing storyline. She urged me to send it in to get published, but I laughed it off. She went behind my back and had it published without my knowledge. The first time I saw it, I was shocked. I was honored that she would want to do something so extraordinary for me, but I wondered who would want to read it. Turns out, several people did. Two years later, I wrote another story, but this time is was with full consciousness. I wasn't journaling, but actually forming a book. That too, went over well with a lot of people, which encouraged me to keep going. My sister approached me at the beginning of this year, to ask if I could do her 4-month relationship with a horrible man, justice. That was hard for me to say yes, as the man left her for dead. After much begging on her part, I agreed, and I just finished. 'Some Habits, Are Hard to Break' is my newest story to come out. I now have 8 romantic books for sale, all over the world. (see Amazon, for example. I write under my maiden name - Tina Griffith) The pain from my husband's death has lessoned, but it will never be gone. My sister's emotional and painful memory with her boyfriend, has also lessoned, thanks to how I wrote 'her story'.
Writing can be healing, creating can be fun, and it's a wonderful way to spend an hour or two all by yourself.
While my work has been done as a self-published author, thanks to a friend who believed in me, I would like feedback on how others are breaking into the real markets.
