Welcome! So happy to have you.

I am usually low after workouts. I am on the pump also and my Diabetes Educator taugh my how to set a temp basal for my pump during my workouts. Most of the time it works well for me and can keep me at a decent number after works outs.

Hello!
So glad to find a Type 1 group! I was diagnosed at age 10 and have struggled with my weight my whole life. I had been the same weight for many years until I started on anti-depressants. Now, I've gained 10 pounds, and I'm determined to lose at least 20. I'm more than 40 pounds overweight, but that number is too overwhelming for me! I have a diabetic complication called charcot foot, so it can be difficult for me to walk too much. I've started using an exercise bike at least 3 times a week. The one difficulty is I've had my blood sugar go up after exercising. Does anyone else have this problem? I know that's important not to exercise when my bs is too high, so I always check beforehand.
So glad to find this group!
Susan
