Hey Corey welcome aboard!
I guess either diagnosis could be life-disrupting, but I'm slightly biased to think that 1 is a bigger shock to one's system. Either way, welcome to the team, there's a good bunch of support and advice whenever you need it, all you have to do is ask. Good luck pulling everything together, the first month is the worst IMO, but thankfully there's only one first month to get through. emoticon
Don't hesitate to ask anything, we're all here to help!

Hi Hubby!

Another member, JBJMF23, has identified him/herself as being diagnosed in their 30s, also. Perhaps there are some others.

I imagine the boards will be very quiet today due to American Thanksgiving.

I'm a 38 year old man, married and father of 3. I was diagnosed 3 weeks ago with Type 2 and shocked. 3 days later I was re-diagnosed with Type 1. Apperently I fought off the diabetes for 24 years.
