I am so sorry I missed this! You are in good company. With a nation of around 70% overweight/obese citizens, you can bet plenty of people are struggling with overeating. It can take a lot of tries to find a sustainable groove, and even then, stuff happens. What else is there to do but dust off the cookie crumbs and get back to sane eating?

I am coming up on year ten since a turnaround at age 56. I can't say I am carefree about it all even now, but with all I've read, I forgive myself because so few people ever lose and maintain, which I've been able to do, even if I do have to think about it.

Our food issues can be managed. My goal is lessen frequency and intensity - it is working now for 8 +yrs. There is hope.
We all have to figure things out for ourselves but Spark is a great place for information, inspiration, and motivation.
