hi, i have been with spark people for about a year and have lost 20 pounds. i find that browsing the recipes and using the personal recipe file has helped me to be aware of better choices when i am cooking. also, it gives me ideas for quick snacks just by becoming familiar with calorie counts and substitutions for high cal ingredients. be sure to find the postitive and fun in this journey and don't try to rush into's a marathon not a sprint if you want to make a life change...but it will be worth it when you feel healthier and more energetic! stay strong!!! :)
