Welcome to the team and the first day of the rest of your life. Thank you for choosing to do one of your first postings as a spark member here. I hope you post more often. Someone will always respond if you do. The coffee chat thread is a good one for starters and you can chat about any that catches your "fancy". We are a friendly and supportive group. Good luck tomorrow with your procedure and the one on Tuesday.

Hi. I have been a sparks member for years. Never posted before. Starting over today from scratch. Have had serious health issues. Unable to exercise. Gaining weight. I have a colonoscopy tomorrow and hernia surgery on tuesday. I am on a 3 day fast. I intend to use this to jump start my new way of life. New way of thinking about eating. Gastric problems. New ways of thinking about exercising. Today a walk to the mailbox. Tomorrow who knows. No more I can't do it. Now it is I did it, it was rough, but I did it. 2 week old grandson I want to watch grow. Today is truly the first day of the rest of my life. 230 lbs. Goal is for 220. Then go from there
