Hi, don't feel discouraged. I used to be just where you are and I can tell you it is not easy but you can do it. I did it so I know anyone can...LOL

I started slow then started going to the gym even it was just to use the treadmill for 10 minutes. I found that if I was in the public eye I would do more. It actually worked.

I also signed up with the Free personal trainer you get at Planet Fitness and worked with him 3 times a week for 30 minutes each time. Then progressed from there. It took a while but I'm feeling better and more confident.

I had surgery a year ago after an accident at work, and went downhill fast but I am just getting back in shape and loosing the pounds I gained(40) of them slowly, but I know eventually they will come off.

Hello! I feel HUGE compared to you all. I am at a terrifying 280 pounds :-(. I have two beautiful small children and I feel absolutely desperate in my weight loss journey. I don't know where to begin. I feel hopeless, gigantic and UGLY. I hope to find some support on this page :) Looking forward to getting to know everyone!

Hi, I just started today, and don't know really where to begin. I try to lead a healthy lifestyle but know I can do much better. Have very low self esteem and want to change that. Looking forward to any and all help I can get.

Hi, Rhode Islanders! I want to join this team while (and after) I loose 100 lb. . The extra pounds I put on while I took college classes and sat, sat, sat and studied did wonders for my grades but did not do wonders for my plumpness building up! Even though I was taking classes I want to say that I am not a youngster, but am over 55, but still a youngster at heart!

East Manning Street, Patterson Street, Hope Street are places in Providence where I have lived and I was born at the Lying In Hospital in the olden days when it was named that.

I'm doing the nutrition and fitness tracking. . . just printed out the meal plan that was suggested for me. Good luck to us all as we try to reach our goals.
