Welcome Carol! I've been a member of sparkpeople for over 2 years, and it's really helped me to become more active and be more mindful of what I eat.

For me the most useful tool here is the nutrition tracker. Seeing the calorie/fat counts of some of my favorite foods helps me make a more informed choice as to whether I really want to eat those things that day, or substitute it for something else.

The community support here is pretty fantastic too. I hope you find the tools that work well for you!
