I wear a pedometer everyday and you would be surprised how many steps you take each day. On a non work day I get between 900 and 1,000 steps in. On a work day I can end up walking as much as 2,500 steps. There are some very good articles on walking here at Spark people. Sometimes you just have to be creative on how to get in more steps. Hugs, Sherry

I have been thyroid free for over a year and have gone from a size 2 to 12. 50 pounds that my doctor said COULD NOT be from not having a thyroid. I finally saw a specialist at Cleveland Clinic and he told me it was all from not having a thyroid and there was not much I could do. He did recommend working out for 95 minutes every day and eating less than 1000 calories per day. He said possibly I could go from 169 to 145 in a year!

I am a 47 year old with three children, 24, 8 and 5. I already walk half an hour every day and have no idea when to fit in the other hour.

Can anyone help me?
