Enjoy? No. Wearing a mask outside (and in the car till it's warmed up), because the air is too cold for my damaged lungs, and the slightest breeze takes my breath away, as a heavy wind would do to a baby.
Then there's the ice--during the first 2 years after my first stroke, the falls I survived involved 7 dislocations to my shoulders, and 2 to my elbows.
No, I'm not really complaining, but today it took 20 minutes to drive 1 1/4mi to work, where I couldn't park handicapped because some "sweet young thing" parked her ride halfway over the lines.
NOW I'm complaining.
But the snow is beautiful. And my disabled husband (pace maker for over 40 years) is able to go out with his snow blower and get a good workout. But I'd take Arizona desert any day.
Peace everyone, God be with you all on this cold, breezy evening!

Dear God,
I never knew orange & purple went together until I saw the sunset last night--author unknown

My halo might split in 2 every now and then, but I can take it. I've got BIG shoulders--they hide the WINGS!

You may not like snow ... but you certainly can find things to do in it to help you stay fit. There are many winter sports that you can take part in ... from downhill skiing to snowshoeing. Or even going out for a brisk walk. If you are not sports minded there is always shoveling ... it is a really good cardio workout! For those who have a total aversion to going out when it's cold and snowy ... cozy up by the fire and enjoy the view from home.

I hope everyone is finding some way to enjoy this beautiful weather.
